All members are expected to keep track of their hours and have them signed. A minimum of 20 service hours is required of each NHS member, 10 of which must be NHS-sponsored event hours. Although only 20 service hours are required, going above and beyond is both encouraged and rewarded (see Article II, Section 6 of the chapter bylaws for more details). Accepted hours are those that are collected from June of the previous school year to the first Friday of April of this current school year. Please be diligent and cognizant of when hours are due.
